Rowbook

Privacy policy

Last updated November 7, 2026

Rowbook is made by Daily Apps Lab. This policy covers the Rowbook app on iPhone, iPad and Android: what it collects, why, and how you can delete it.

The short version

Data that stays on your device

Unless you sign in, everything you add stays on your phone or tablet: patterns, files, photos, web pages you save, projects, counters, notes, yarn stash and settings. We can't see any of it.

Data we hold if you sign in

Signing in is optional and is used only to sync between your devices.

DataWhy
Email address (and password, if you set one)To create your account and sign you in. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
Your patterns, files, photos, projects, counters, notes and stashTo keep your devices in step. Stored privately under your account; no other user can see them.

We don't use your content for anything else: no profiling, no advertising, no AI training.

Purchases

Rowbook Pro is bought through Apple's App Store or Google Play. They handle your payment, and we never see your card details. We receive only what's needed to unlock Pro on your account, such as the product, purchase date and subscription status.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers who process data only on our behalf:

We do not sell or rent personal data, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep data

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (for example the UK, the EU or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your personal data, or to object to how it's used. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and each account's data is locked so only that account can read it. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we hold to the minimum.

Children

Rowbook is a general hobby app and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our providers may store data in other countries. Where required, they use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. For important changes, we'll also tell you in the app.
